Q: How thick metal can it weld or should or how long can i use it?
A: I have used the HITBOX ARC200 for 1/2 hour non-stop @150 MAPS and it went heart good welder 8mm thick.
Q: Could this welder work running off deep cycle batteries connected to a 3000 or 4000 watt Generator?
A: You need at least 20amps so your 3000 watts will give you 25 amps which makes it technically possible.
Q: I would like longer welding leads what ends or adapters will I need ?
A: The machine has Dinse-style connectors on the wires and panels. you could buy pre-made extensions with Dinse connectors, or make your own, longer wires with the Dinse-style connectors.
Q: What is the recommended stick size for this welder ?
A: 1 to 5 The stick size is from 1.6mm to 4.0mm. Welding 7018 1/8″ very well, also 6013 and 7018 3/32″
